EXPERIENCE
Michael Horowitz joined Bain Capital in 2026. He is a Partner on the Special Situations team, leading the Healthcare vertical. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Michael was a Managing Director at Brookfield Asset Management, where he was a founding member of the Special Investments team and a senior investor in the Private Equity business, with a focus on flexible capital solutions and control buyout transactions.
Prior to Brookfield, he began his career at Citigroup, where he worked in the Workout and Corporate Banking teams.
EDUCATION
Michael graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with high distinction from Duke University, where he received a BS in economics.
